Norplan builds renewable incentives program in Uganda
Multiconsult subsidiary and INTPOW partner; Norplan, is the project manager of a project funded by KfW to implement a feed in tariff incentive program for renewable energy in Uganda. The program will deliver 20 new renewable energy projects to Uganda within the next 5 years. GET FiT (Global Energy Feed in Tariff) is new and yet untried, but will be implemented to spur private investments in developing regions. The incentive scheme will mainly support small scale energy production based on hydropower and biomass with less than 20 MW installed power.
