Today, INTPOW attended an industrial lunch with the Scottish Energy Minister Fergus Ewing in the run up to the Norwegian delegation visit to Scottish Offshore Wind Supply Chain event at the end of January.
It was agreed that there were ample opportunities for Norwegian and Scottish companies from the offshore wind and hydropower industries to collaborate. In particularly such collaboration would be most sought in the joint development of strong and efficient processes, logistics and technologies for the faster development of Scottish and International offshore wind farms, both bottom fixed and floating. Also potential hydropower collaboration was discussed.
INTPOW is inviting Norwegian offshore wind industry to take part in a delegation to visit Aberdeen and the Offshore Wind event and to meet with Scottish counterparties and potential industrial partners in bilateral meetings.
