INTPOW at 25th EU PVSEC / WCPEC-5 Valencia
20.09.10On September 7, during the 25th EU PVSEC / WCPEC-5 conference in Valencia, Spain, INTPOW and Innovation Norway, in alliance, had invited the Norwegian solar industry and their international contacts as well as other industry players to hear Spanish developers, McKinsey and Eksportfinans speak on central industry topics.
A total of 25 guests arrived for breakfast at the Husa Camarena Hotel and networked through the morning, while listening to the interesting presentations. Participants developed deep background on the Spanish regulatory government’s structural challenges resulting in the messy approach to the new solar project regime. They were also confronted with the short term risks but long term prosperous industry expectations of McKinsey and the latest insights into the development of financial strategies for solar project finance adding alternative financing from Eksportfinans. Participants enjoyed the morning and the opportunity to renew old and make new acquaintances and contact before hurrying on to busy agenda’s at the exhibition.
