The HYDRO-conferences are known for their extensive technical program, and HYDRO 2010 was no exception. Four parallel sessions were in action from early morning until the afternoon the three days the conference lasted. Norway was represented with three session chairs and numerous presentations. According to some delegates, however, the number of Norwegian speakers could have been higher.
Norway was well represented at the exhibition. Rainpower and Powel had large stands while Hydroenergi, Sedicon, Teksal, Kolo Veidekke, INTPOW and Dyrhoff had smaller but well visited booths.

The Salmon & Grieg reception

On the afternoon of the first day of Hydro 2010, the music of Grieg filled the foyer area between the conference rooms and the exhibition area.  This networking arena proved a great success as more than 200 delegates found their way to the salmon canapés served in the foyer.

The Ambassador?s Dinner

The Norwegian Ambassador to Portugal invited the Norwegian business delegation
and their contacts to a sea food dinner in her residence. The beautiful house and garden gave a perfect setting for informal networking.
